  Don Cafe is about as good as get when it comes to Pho shops.  They are a small cafe in a strip center that does a great lunch business.  I've been eating there since they opened and never had a disappointment with the food quality, freshness or service.  I must admit when they get the lunch hour rush it gets hectic and the service slows a bit, but never like some of the reviews described.  They make dozens of Bánh Mì Sandwiches at lunch time and do get backed up at times, but it not due to the lack of trying to get everyone feed.
  
  The Pho and Bun dishes are all fantastic, I think I've tried everything on the menu over the years and never had anything that was excellent in it's class.

  I'm honestly surprised by so many of these negative reviews. My copilot and I stopped in and were instantly greeted before grabbing a table. They brought us some waters and took our order. We each ordered one of the combos and it arrived within 5-10 minutes.
  
  We both loved the Beef Banh Mi and I loved my spring rolls while my copilot enjoyed his egg rolls. We were shocked with how cheap it was that we almost ordered another sandwich!
  
  I definitely recommend giving this place a shot, we will be back.

  Please do not go here. The owner is very rude! When you place an order online he is very short and acts like he can't hear you, while yelling at you. I accidentally placed a wrong order here when I wanted the one on bellaire. Well when I got to the bellaire location they called this location and handed the phone to me. The man was very rude and yelled at me. He then said F*** YOU over and over again. I said excuse me and he continue to talk down on me and curse at me. I gave the phone back to them and said why would you allow him to yelled and curse at me. The person working at the bellaire location said well he would have curse at me. He is my manager. I said so you are allowing them to do it to me? And he's your manager? I said he needs to learn how to treat people. I stood, waited, and paid for my food. Then the worker at the bellaire location said oh they delivered your food here and you owe more money. I said how do I know he didn't spit in my food since he was cursing at me the whole time. I asked for them to make a new one and they refused. I said well I would like my money back and finally they made my new banh mi order. $20 really isn't going to break you. Talking down to people really hurts your business. My husband called him and asked if he was cursing at me and he hung the phone up.

  This is a review for a call in order. I called and they were very prompt the man on the phone was funny he made me feel like it was going to be good service from the start. I could hear the joy in his voice. I ordered the spring rolls with Tofu since I'm vegetarian. I ordered a tofu sandwich, so far I've only are the spring rolls but they were delicious... the sauce is amazing!!!

  This has become my go to Banh Mi Spot. It's so yummy. The bread is soft but nicely toasted, the meat is flavorful and a generous portion, the veggies are crisp and delicious.
  
  We decided to also try their shrimp fried rice which was also very tasty. The portion is very generous for the price.
  
  The restaurant is always clean and you can see the care they put into making sure everything is clean and orderly. I've never seen so much as a little mess in this restaurant. If you're looking for a good meal on the cheap go check this place out. It's definitely a little gem.
